Child & family therapy tailored to each child and their family from an individualized family systems perspective.
We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to helping adopted children and their families. No two children are alike, so why should one therapy method be right for every child? In our IDATT™ child and family therapy, we spend time getting to know your child and your family. We use this information as the basis for the treatment plan designed specifically for you.We believe that the role of faith, prayer, and God’s power is vital to the psychological healing process. Please visit our Psychology and Faith page for a more detailed explanation of our approach to integrating psychology and faith. Dr. Patti M. Zordich has found that families experience the most progress when they choose to engage in the IDATT™ Model described below. After seeing their child go from extreme behavioral acting out to healthy, typical relationships at home and school, one parent said, “Without God and Dr. Patti, we would never have made it!” Our program for adopted children and their families consists of three levels based on the stages of healthy child development. Read on for a description of each stage, along with its therapeutic components and expected outcomes. Each level of treatment is approximately six months in duration.
