Sunflower Girls
Sunflower Girls offers a fun, creative milieu in which to learn and practice social skills, including authentic communicating, understanding nonverbal messages and effective listening. This group gives adopted girls, aged 10 – 12, a way to meet other adopted girls in a fun activity and guided discussion and to discover that they are not alone in their emotions and experiences.
Although Sunflower Girls is usually a 4-session group, including the presentation of tea party etiquette and preparations for a formal tea party on the final group session, we are offering this one-session group August.

Fee: $70/billable to your medical insurance
